D GROUP is moving forward with a new investment in the heart of Athens, aimed at upgrading and reopening the historic Hollywood Arcade on Akadimias Street.
The €2.5 million investment involves the complete redevelopment of the arcade and the creation of a new gastronomic destination under the name “Stoa D100.”
According to a Financial Report article, the new Stoa D100 is planned to host five different food and beverage concepts, offering a diverse range of options, from Greek cuisine and meat dishes to sushi, a wine bar, coffee and waffles.
The design envisions a unified aesthetic throughout the space, while preserving distinctive architectural elements of the historic arcade, including its marble features and characteristic mosaic flooring.
The investment aims to create a new meeting point in the heart of Athens, appealing to local residents and professionals working in the city centre, as well as visitors to the Greek capital.
At the same time, according to the initial plans, the investment is expected to create approximately 60 new jobs.
The new investment by D GROUP President Dr. Dimitris Derpanis forms part of the Group’s broader business activity and adds to the development projects already underway.
Stoa D100 aspires to breathe new life into a historic landmark in Athens, combining the identity and character of the space with contemporary dining and entertainment experiences.

For Zoe Chatzi, Vice President of D GROUP, the greatest wealth of the future lies in the continuous evolution of the human being.
By the not-so-distant year of 2050, the educational landscape will be unrecognizable. Rapid technological and biometric advancements will have transformed learning into a deeply personalized experience, decoding and tailoring knowledge to each individual’s unique needs. In this context, the mere accumulation of information will have passed entirely into the “hands” of Artificial Intelligence. Yet, this is precisely where the greatest challenge of the AI era emerges for organizations operating in the education and training sector. In a world where algorithms provide ready-made answers for everything, what will ultimately be a person’s most valuable asset?
Our greatest challenge will not be technological, but profoundly existential: managing to keep our memories, emotions, and value systems intact. When basic technical proficiency becomes a given, a key differentiator will be the individual who pursues—with undiminished thirst—the quest for lifelong learning, continuous growth, and the validation of their skills. The most powerful, invaluable assets of the new era will be generosity, lifelong learning, and authenticity. The “richest” person of 2050 will be the one who, despite being surrounded by perfect machines, remains wonderfully human and constantly evolving.
For D GROUP, supporting a region gains real meaning when it gives back to the people themselves and improves their everyday lives.
Recognizing the needs of our country’s mountainous areas, the President of our Group, Dimitrios Derpanis, has undertaken a meaningful initiative to support the elderly residents of Avdella, Grevena, providing a free 9-seat coach for 20 days.
Support in action, where it’s needed most!
Avdella, a place of great tradition, is characterized by rugged terrain and steep slopes. For its older residents, these geographical features make daily movement particularly difficult, often leading to unintended isolation.
By providing the transport vehicle, the Group ensures the safe and comfortable movement of elderly residents within the hard-to-navigate village, overcoming the area’s natural obstacles. At the same time, this initiative strengthens everyday social connection, encouraging our people to leave their homes, meet friends and fellow villagers, and remain an active part of the community. Finally, the initiative brings new vitality to local life, making it easier to reach the central square, the neighborhoods, and the village’s churches — especially during this period, when the area is brimming with life and energy.
At D GROUP, we firmly believe that true giving begins with the people who keep our region’s traditions alive. No one should feel alone or excluded, especially in their own homeland.
We continue to stand by local communities, proving that business growth and social responsibility go hand in hand.
The official ratification of the contract by the Greek Parliament for our Group’s undertaking of the National Ski Center of Vasilitsa project is now a fact, marking the start of a new era of development for Konitsa, Grevena, and the wider Pindus region.
