This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Athens for a QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer. We are looking for a hands-on QA professional who is comfortable operating in an environment where manual testing will be an important part of the role in the early stages, while test automation is a core expectation and a key part of long-term ownership.

This role is for someone who can work closely with engineers and product stakeholders, bring structure to quality assurance from the beginning, and gradually build, expand, and own the test suite as the platforms evolve.

What you will do

• Design and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test plans
• Perform hands-on manual testing across new features, regressions, integrations, and end-to-end business flows
• Identify, document, and track bugs clearly and systematically
• Work closely with backend, frontend, and product stakeholders throughout delivery
• Take ownership of the test suite and help shape the QA approach from the ground up
• Contribute directly to the introduction and expansion of automated testing
• Help improve release quality and reduce production issues over time

What we are looking for

• Approximately 4–7 years of experience in Software QA / Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with manual testing of web applications, APIs, and business workflows
• Solid hands-on exposure to test automation
• Experience with at least one automation framework such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
• Ability to build, maintain, and expand automated test coverage over time
• Good understanding of test case design, regression testing, and defect lifecycle
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Postman
• Structured mindset, attention to detail, and a pragmatic way of working
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with engineering teams
• Experience working in agile product or engineering teams

Nice to have

• Experience building or improving test automation suites from scratch
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with more than one automation tool/framework
• Basic SQL knowledge
