DGroup is building its internal Technology Unit from the ground up and is looking for a strong hands-on backend engineer to help shape the foundations of a new digital capability.

We are looking for a builder. Someone who can write clean production code, design pragmatic APIs, structure backend systems properly, and contribute to the delivery of business-critical platforms from an early stage.

It is a role for someone who wants to build, take ownership, and grow with the organization as the technology function expands.

Ideal profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant backend development experience, ideally 7+ years in production backend systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Good understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and transactional workflows
• Experience with PostgreSQLor similar relational databases
• Ability to make sound technical decisions and keep solutions pragmatic
• Comfortable working in a greenfield/ build-from-zero environment
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to move from requirement to implementation
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to help shape engineering standards and practices
